Who does what

Same-day (immediate-load) treatment means a temporary set of teeth is fitted to new implants on the day of surgery, with the final teeth made a few months later. Not everyone has enough bone for it, and your surgeon decides.

We do not place implants. Your dentist or implant surgeon plans and performs the surgery. Our part is the teeth: we take the records, make the prosthesis in our lab in Oak Park, fit it, and repair it if it ever chips. > Important: Oak Park Denture Clinic fabricates the prosthetic denture component only. We do not perform implant surgery or place implants. Same-day implant denture cases require coordination between your surgeon and our lab.

What Are Same-Day Implant Dentures?

Same-day implant dentures (also called "immediate-load dentures") are temporary prosthetic teeth fitted onto newly placed implants on the same day as surgery. This means you never go without teeth, you walk out of the surgical appointment with a functional denture.

Our role: We pre-fabricate a temporary denture before surgery day. On the day your surgeon places the implants, we adjust it to fit the actual implant positions and deliver it immediately.

How Same-Day Denture Fabrication Works# Before Surgery Day

Your surgeon shares their implant plan with us. We pre-fabricate a temporary denture based on projected implant positions, tooth shade, and bite registration.

On Surgery Day

After your surgeon places the implants, we receive the final implant positions and make rapid adjustments to the pre-made temporary. Our on-site lab enables this, no external lab delays.

After Healing (3-6 Months)

Once your implants have fully integrated with the jawbone, we fabricate your permanent prosthetic denture with final shade, shape, and precision fit.

Other options we make in our lab

If you mainly want to avoid being without teeth, there is a simpler route that needs no implant surgery at all:

• Snap-on dentures clip onto two to four implants placed by your dentist. Our denture fee is $2,200-$4,200 per arch, and the implant surgery is quoted separately by your dentist. Far fewer implants than a full-arch bridge.
• Full dentures from $1,100 per arch, made and fitted here, with no surgery.
• Immediate dentures from $1,450 per arch, fitted the same day your teeth come out, so you are never without teeth.
• Relines from $290 if your current denture is loose and you are not ready to replace it.
